The Archbishop’s message this year, was inspired by his recent attendance to Rome for the Canonisation of Australia’s 1st Saint – St Mary of the Cross Mackillop.

On Tuesday 2 November 2010, the Archbishop’s Christmas Appeal letter will be directly mailed to more than 10,000 generous donors.
Included in each envelope, is a beautiful Prayer Card which celebrates the life of Saint Mary MacKillop and includes a wonderful prayer which the Archbishop has prepared for just this occasion.
Personally Blessed by the Archbishop, these cards are a Christmas Gift from His Grace, to thank us for our generosity and ongoing support of LifeLink.
On the week of Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 November 2010, the same letters and prayer cards will be hand-delivered to parishioners as they leave Church, by the Archbishop’s commissioned appeal representatives….(If you have received a letter by mail there is no need to take a second copy at Church)
APPEAL WEEKEND is Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November 2010.
In every parish in the Archdiocese, the appeal will be officially launched and a special collection conducted. You may wish to contribute through the special collection in your parish, or mail your donation. You can also provide donations securely and safely online via this page.
