I would like to thank all the schools which entered our LifeLink "Express Yourself" Art Competition.
As you know, the challenge was to produce a piece of art which would visually represent:-
- the Archbishop's goals for LifeLink Day
- OR
- how LifeLink agencies help people in need,
here in Western Australia.
I must say that I was so impressed by the quality of the artworks you supplied.
We definitely have some wonderfully creative and talented young people in our schools.
It made my decision all the more difficult, however as I was
asked to select six (6) award winning artworks, I am delighted to announce that the winning entries are:-
-
St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School, Clarkson
Artists: Emily Glover & Jordyn Grevers
Year 5
-
St Denis School, Joondanna
Artists: Madeleine Grech

-
Newman College, Churchlands
Artists: Samantha Hattingh
Year 11
-

Congratulations...your artworks will now be used throughout the 2011 Year on the Schools & Students Zone Access and also feature in the Schools Pages.
In addition, the Archbishop and I will invite representatives from your school to join us for a special morning tea at St Mary's Cathedral, where we will present each school with a $1,500.00 sponsorship prize.
A big thank you must go to all the talented students, classes and schools which took time to enter this completion.
